Heavy vehicle telematics platform
Brings fleet telematics feeds into a single view. Trips are mapped against the restricted access vehicle network, and braking and stability alarms are tracked day by day.
Seceda Software
We are an agile software and systems team delivering bespoke technology for Australia's transport industry, from first prototype to production and beyond.
About us
Our team has decades of experience delivering complex technology and research projects in transport. We understand the vehicles, the networks and the standards, so we can get to the useful part faster.
We build practical, tailored software that lets you respond to your own business problems quickly and cost-effectively. And we stay around afterwards: a technology partner that scales with you, rather than a one-off vendor.
We work end to end, from concept and strategy through UX and UI design, implementation and integration, to hosting and support.
What we do
We scope and run complex technology projects from start to finish, keeping them on time, on budget and clear to every stakeholder.
Robust, scalable system designs shaped around your data, your users and the platforms you already run.
Web applications, data pipelines and mapping tools, engineered to be fast, maintainable and a pleasure to use.
Independent guidance on data, telematics, geospatial and vehicle performance questions, so you can make informed decisions.
Secure, reliable hosting and ongoing care that keep your application running and improving well after launch.

Brings fleet telematics feeds into a single view. Trips are mapped against the restricted access vehicle network, and braking and stability alarms are tracked day by day.
Check a single trailer or review the whole fleet. Brake warning lamps, diagnostic faults and gaps in reporting are summarised in plain language, so staff don’t have to dig through specialist telematics screens.
Estimates a vehicle or trailer’s static rollover threshold from its dimensions, axle groups, suspension, tyres and payload. The result is checked against the 0.35 g and 0.40 g minimums and converted into advisory safe speeds for typical curves.
Steps Western Australian road-legal combinations through every required articulation angle in 3D and plan views, flagging collision points before a vehicle is built. Start from a standard combination or customise dimensions, then print a summary report.
Classifies road curves by rollover risk and overlays crash history, so safety teams can see where heavy vehicles are most exposed.
Compares how long proposed and existing vehicles take to clear a configurable intersection, helping road managers assess network access for PBS vehicles.
Calculates Equivalent Standard Axles and pavement wear for standard or custom vehicle configurations, so current and proposed vehicles can be compared side by side.
Works out the steepest grade a vehicle combination can climb before its drive axles lose traction. It supports decisions about which roads are approved for restricted access vehicles.
